Welcome to Restorer of Lost Voices.

Jesus is my Balm of Gilead, the Healer of  my wounds and Safe Sanctuary. Beauty abounds in His care, rest, and timing. He daily lifts my gaze and gives me a song to sing! 

I’m an advocate for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, but I also have a heart for all who are broken and hurt. I’m a  child of God, wife, daughter, sister, mother, Mima, mentor, and friend. I write and speak of Jesus’ unconditional love and abundant grace; and try to exemplify His compassion and gentleness. His Truth and lovingkindness are a thread woven throughout most of my writings. He has restored my voice. And so, my prayer is to help others walk in freedom and sing their song.

Jesus’ shed blood paid the penalty for our sin, and with repentance, we have eternal hope and purpose. When we walk with Him and follow His Ways, we will not be shaken or silenced.

Join me as I pursue God’s presence and take note of His handiwork. May we learn to praise Him through our messy and mundane Mondays, failures and hard losses, and feasts and remembrances. For He alone is our strength and song and salvation.
