There was a time when I would have hurried and tried to get my walk in on our vacation, and I would have missed the hidden treasure of the bay. God has taught me to slow down and to notice His creation. He has beautiful gifts in His storehouse and sometimes we must look for them. I was filled with wonder last summer as my husband and I turned over rocks on the bottom of Bar Harbor , Maine and found starfish after starfish. Even the colors and patterns of the barnacles were a display of His handiwork.
Likewise, if we are faithful in our search for discernment and understanding, He will surely help us. This day be faithful in your quest for wisdom, choose to be still and quiet, and trust in God’s lead and purpose. Bow in humility and seek the hidden treasure.
